§01Our Story

Rooted in Nashik, exporting to the world

NF Impex Trading started with a simple goal: get the best of India's produce to buyers abroad, in the condition they expect and on the schedule they need. We are based in Nashik, Maharashtra, a region known for its grapes, onions and wider horticulture, and for growers who already farm with export in mind.

Working close to the source lets us pick single harvest lots, grade them properly and pack to each market's spec. Importers, wholesalers, retailers and HoReCa buyers across the Gulf, the UK and beyond get a supplier they can plan around, not a one off shipment.

The people behind the desk

Two complementary backgrounds behind one export desk, international trade experience built in the Gulf and the UK, and deep sourcing and quality expertise on the ground in Nashik.

Sachin is from Nashik, Maharashtra, one of India's most prominent agricultural hubs, known for its high quality grapes, onions and diverse horticulture, and for farming that has been export oriented for a generation. He grew up around the farms we now buy from, which is why our sourcing starts with people rather than a spot market.

With a farming background and experience across quality assurance and business development, he runs sourcing, grading, packing and export operations on the ground, the part of the job that decides whether a container arrives in the condition the buyer was promised.

What he owns day to day

Every lot we ship passes through Sachin's side of the business. He sets the grade standard with our packers, holds growers to the specification we quoted, and signs off the pre-shipment QA, so the consignment that lands is the one the buyer agreed to on paper.

"Grade the lot honestly at the buying point and nothing downstream becomes an argument."

Mr. Yaseen Mallik Choudhari

M.Sc. · London, United Kingdom

Yaseen comes from a business oriented family, and that early exposure to trade shaped the way he works: build the relationship first, and the orders follow. With over five years in the Dubai market, he specialises in agricultural exports, global sourcing and building international partnerships that survive a bad season as well as a good one.

He leads NF Impex Trading's buyer relationships across the Gulf and the UK, pricing, market entry, and the long conversations that turn a trial pallet into a standing programme.

Why NF Impex exists

India grows some of the best produce in the world, yet importers abroad still struggle to find an exporter who grades honestly, documents properly and answers the phone. Yaseen founded NF Impex Trading to close exactly that gap: one dependable partner at origin, accountable from the buying point to your port.

"We would rather earn the next order than win a quick one. That is the whole business model."

§03The Team

Roots of the company

A small team, deliberately, with people at both ends of the trade: sourcing and grading in Nashik, and a business presence in the Kingdom of Bahrain that keeps us close to our Gulf buyers.

Althaf Choudhari, Bahrain branch, NF Impex Trading
Director

Althaf Choudhari

Thirty years in business, and a lifetime before that on a farm. Althaf was born into an agricultural family, so his first education in produce was not a trading floor but a field: what a crop looks like in a good season and a bad one, why one lot holds and another breaks down in transit, and how much of a harvest's value is won or lost in the weeks after it leaves the ground. That grounding is why he can look at a consignment and know what it will be worth on arrival, not just at the buying point.

He directs our Bahrain branch, holding the commercial relationships that connect Indian growers to buyers across the Gulf and beyond. His conviction is a simple one and he repeats it often: India grows food good enough for any table in the world, and purity should be something a buyer can verify rather than something a label claims. Every grade standard we hold our packers to traces back to that. In his own words, committed to quality product.

Noor Fathima, business management, NF Impex Trading
Business & Finance Managing Director

Noor Fathima

Twenty years in business, a degree in business management, and a career built almost entirely in the Gulf. For more than fifteen of those years Noor has been running businesses in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which means she has negotiated, invoiced and been paid in these markets long enough to know how they genuinely work: how buyers there assess a new supplier, what payment terms are realistic against a sailing schedule, and where an export deal quietly costs more than the quotation suggested.

As Business & Finance Managing Director she owns the commercial side of every consignment: pricing structure, terms, credit and the financial discipline that decides whether a trading relationship survives a difficult season. It is the part of the business buyers rarely see and feel immediately when it is missing. Her standard is that a customer should never be surprised by a number, and that an agreement made before a container is stuffed is the same agreement when it lands.
